Our AR-15 Mag Skins will work great on Hexmag's HX30-AR magazines! These types of magazines take a little bit more effort then Magpul's PMAG magazines but have a real good feel when they are all done.
We recommend pressing the material into the surface of the mag, working from the center towards the edges. The hexagonal design will show through nicely as you apply heat and set the material. You will need a needle or the tip of a sharp hobby knife to relieve any air bubbles that may occur at the edges of the hexagons.
It is just as important to clean new mags as used ones. New mags can still have residue from the molding/manufacturing process. We recommend using Froglube Solvent and a brush to clean the mags before the installation.
