My kit came folded in the package and there's a crease.

GunSkins come packaged in either 9" x 11" for the larger full gun kits or 9" x 7" for the smaller accessory kits. When taken out and unfolded, the kit templates can measure up to 50" in length. In order to fit the product in the package folding is unavoidable. It is perfectly normal to experience creasing in the kit upon delivery. There is nothing to be concerned about, the product is not damaged.

The material our kits are made from is really durable adhesive vinyl. The packaging can be delivered water damaged, folded, and torn yet more often than not the kit will still be in good enough condition to install. 

During installation the crease will be flattened out naturally as you press the material outward with your fingers. If you experience a hard crease, it can be fixed by applying heat. When warm, the material will naturally reset to it's standard shape. It will become flexible. Once cooled it will harden and straighten out, eliminating the crease.

The majority of the time, we recommend installing the kit like normal. When you get to portion that contains a crease, hit the material with heat and stretch it out. Press it in with your fingers and the vinyl will smoothen out as if the crease was never there.
